Online retailer The Idle Man is set to open up a bricks-and-mortar, ”try before you buy” store in London next month.
Located in Clerkenwell, the store will have a 600 sq ft footprint and will open its doors on October 6. The shop will stock a range of own-brand and branded mens clothes – around two pieces from each brand in stock, according to the etailer – for customers to try on. Orders then can be delivered for free.
In June, the menswear retailer landed £1.4 million in funding – led by private equity firm Foresight Group and Thomas Pink founder Peter Mullen – to help accelerate its growth. The Idle Man was founded in 2014 by Oliver Tezcan, a former menswear buyer from ASOS.
